  After doing my research I found that of all the Banfields in the area this one had the best reviews. With my residing in south park area this is quite a bit of a drive, but I wanted only what was best for my dog, so I decided due to numerous recommendations of banfield although I have one close by I wanted to take my dog to the very best one. Upon arrival the front desk staff was nice even helped me hold one of my puppies. I was checked in quickly the nurse or tech came out even quicker and I cant remember his name but he was very nice and well thought out as far as answering my pre-Doctor questions. When the Vet Ms. S (I'm not sure of his full last name) came in he was kind introduced himself and went on to ask me my reasoning for coming, I explained my original intention was to get Gypsy (my dog) vaccinated however she was vomiting and having diarrhea and I had a feeling something was wrong. He assured me and reassured me most likely the symptoms were due to an upset tummy form the change in her diet. Trusting their medical advise I accepted the treatment plan and raved to them how great their reviews were and I was on my way. The following day my dog would not move. Would not eat. would not drink, and this hospital was closed. I called Animal medical hospital and let the know of the symptoms and they urged me to come in immediately and I was greeted warmly, when I entered the exam room the nurse and vet came in in these blue cover up suits and I was freaked out! Long story short they told me my puppy had PARVO I've never felt my heart drop so low than it did in that moment and the only feeling I could feel was pain and the only thing I could think is how, how is this possible I thought she just had an upset tummy. I asked how the other doctor just the day before at BANFIELD could miss this and they said they couldn't speak on their behalf however for un-vaccinated puppies that are experiencing diarrhea and vomiting the first thing that think is parvo. Id never heard a word about Parvo. $1000 dollars later my new puppy I just adopted 4 days prior is in the hospital undergoing treatment and currently still is. When I call banfield to voice my concerns the women is nice enough, kinda too prepared to give an answer. She said the doctors notes indicated testing for parvo a week after the other recommendation of the diet and medicine showed no improvement. My point is if he suspected something that serious IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MENTIONED! But i wa stold nothing, they said NOTHING about parvo otherwise i would have had them test her right then and there. They did agree to refund me for my previous visit however there was not an apology just the over use of the word unfortunately. I refused to speak to the veterinarian due to the fact I am truly blinded by anger. The whole conversation was very generic, I didn't get an sympathy ( real human like sympathy) at all. I am considering take a more legal approach with this error on their part, I just truly feel like this hospital let me and my puppy down. Although it was not all bad, I can honestly say based on my experience if you have the mean take you pets somewhere else.
